About the Publisher
Pleasant City Press was launched when Rose Hollander was asked to help publish Saving the Family Cottage. That book was an instant success, winning the Midwest Independent Publishers "Best Business Book of the Year" award.Pleasant City Press is located in the Village of Suttons Bay, Michigan. Before the village was incorporated, the name "Pleasant City" appeared on the old plat maps. (Rose likes the abbreviated "PC Press" too.) With the success of the first book, the publisher decided to publish other books for the cottage owner market. Rose acquired the rights to Judith Balfe's book, Passing It On, which will be released in 2010. Architect Ken Richmond's book, With the Landscape, will follow soon. Golf on the Edge is a UK published book that PC Press is distributing in the U.S.Back |
